More of a "hi, I come in peace, let's sit on this mossy log in the forest and talk for a bit"... but... in a friendly, cottage-core kinda way, and not an edward cullen kinda way. Bottom line, in this episode I talk about a disconnect that I see a lot of people in society having- people that care about the earth and slow living, but simultaneously question the climate change movement or environmental sustainability. It's such a big problem for so many of us, and to make matters worse, we hear things like "the grass is greener where you water it!" AKA... don't be jealous about that mom's amazing house, all her cool DIYs, or amazing things she cooks, instead... just go do all of that work too, on top of whatever else you're busy with.To me? this puts us in even worse of a headspace. So instead, today, I am presenting you with the mindset shift... Maybe the grass isn't greener on the other side because it's being watered. Maybe it's because it's being taken care of by grass enthusiasts who spend 90% of their free time researching, caring for, and maintaining their amazing grass.And guess what? It's okay if you don't have that time to give your grass right now. It's okay to just admire your neighbors grass and just focus on your family and the inside of your house, ya know? Then one day, when you're ready to add another thing to your plate, we can walk to the neighbor's house together and ask for some tips.
