Hello, and welcome to another episode of the Red Couch Theology podcast. I'm excited. This week, we're finishing up the series that we've been in on anxiety. And this week, we're talking about the anxiety that stems from the present, and really what that means is some anxiety stems from the fact that we are walking around through our everyday lives, wondering if people are going to realize that we're an imposter, we really aren't who we say we are, or maybe we're not as good as that as we appear to be to others and all that sort of thing. And there's this anxiety under the surface that says, I'm really not as valuable as I wish I was. And what if people find out? We're going to talk about that, and we're gonna talk about some of the remedies that the scriptures have to offer to that. We're also going to wrestle with this identity issue in a couple other ways that I'm excited for you to hear, but I'm not going to get into that now. Instead, we're going to dive right into the episode, and you can hear how our identity connects to anxiety and what God has to teach us about that.
