Talk Space with Gen and Qui

Gen and Qui

We all know that being a black woman in today’s world is a challenge. We have to juggle our overworked and underpaid professional lives with the demands and expectations of our family lives, all while checking our attitudes and opinions at various doors. Sometimes being “on” never allows us to “turn off”. Meeting societal expectations that break through glass ceilings on a daily basis all in the name of sophistication, elevation, education and paving new paths can be EXHAUSTING. However, being what many consider as “ratchet” ….is TOO MUCH. Our experiences, while individualized, are like no other. This is why we are. Talk Space with Gen and Qui, is a safe space to explore the joys, frustrations, and obstacles of the modern-day black woman with notes of levity in hopes of working together to find a balance of something that falls right in the middle. We hope you join us on this ride towards finding that harmony, all while discussing today’s hot topics…acknowledged and unspoken. Come on in, have a seat, grab your favorite drink, and let’s chat.
