The Buff's Halloween Special: A Nightmare at Toughsheet

WELCOME back to The Buff. Enter, if you dare!

With Halloween just around the corner, we have decided to dress this week’s podcast up with as many ghoulish references as we could muster. And as if they knew, Wanderers have also managed to scare us witless with two nerve-jangling wins against Northampton Town and Wycombe.

Marc and Henry are back for episode 195 to bring you all the headlines from The Bolton News this week, including George Thomason’s first goal for ages, Gethin Jones’s first team return and what might spook Randell Williams.

Our new segment, Who Are You seems to have caught people’s attention. This week, Marc brings another three ‘fascinating’ facts about ex-Bolton players you might have forgotten all about, ranked by Henry on the time-honoured Dacres-Cogley scale.

As always, we read out your emails, answering questions about Championship football styles and attendance figures at the Toughsheet Stadium.

And, of course, we’ll be making some predictions about what might happen in this weekend’s game against Charlton Athletic, where Wanderers will come up against old foe Alfie May.

It's the perfect start to a weekend now that football is back. First not last, it's the Buff Podcast!

And please, please leave a review. We work hard to put these episodes out every single week, in-season and out, and the more feedback we get, the better the product. Having said all that, we are currently only accepting five-star ratings, as all the other ratings are broken.
