With only a dozen or so games left in the regular season, hosts Shawn Drotar (@sdrotar) and Nate Lundy (@natelundy) look at a couple of heated division matchups, starting in New York, where the second-place Rangers host the third-place Penguins in a Metropolitan Division battle. Nate and Shawn find themselves on opposite sides of this tightly contested game. Over in Carolina, the playoff-bound Hurricanes host the Buffalo Sabres, who… aren’t. The Hurricanes are such heavy favorites that Nate and Shawn have to get creative in order to find value in the matchup. A similar situation exists in Arizona, where the Western Conference-worst Coyotes host a Vancouver Canucks squad that’s flying high after a big win against Las Vegas. The playoff-contending Canucks are favorites, of course, but while playing on the second night of a back-to-back, could they overlook the Coyotes, who are looking to play spoiler? Finally, the Los Angeles Kings host the high-scoring Edmonton Oilers in the NHL’s nightcap. The third-place Kings are chasing the second-place Oilers in the Pacific Division, but after winning five straight, Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and Co. may prove too hot to handle.
