This Podcast episode will NOT answer that question, but it will take a look at knife sharpening and how the process of sharpening a knife to build a sandwich relates to life. If you have ever faced the reality of a challenging situation or you have been put in a position where you were unsure how to move forward, you might have been in the position of being "honed" as a person. Every turkey hunting story has a special twist before resolving in glory! Some days, patience is all that is required to finish a hunt. Other days, guts are needed to finish the job. The time of the American Mountain Man... What images are conjured up in your head when you hear this phrase? Duck camp is a time for comradery and competition. It is funny that these two ideas can run hand in hand as they are vastly different. In the swamps of South Alabama, we have come together for several years to celebrate in the opportunity to hunt ducks!!! And not just any duck, you see... We primarily hunt the lightning fast, acrobatic, wary wood duck! These feather covered little animals have become our favorite quarry, but not for the reasons you might expect.
