During this time, the hours of daylight and darkness are nearly equal all around the world. It is a moment of balance and harmony, symbolizing the transition from the warmth and abundance of summer to the introspection and letting go of the approaching winter. The fall equinox invites us to reflect on the changes happening within and around us, to release what no longer serves us, and to find balance in our lives. It is a time to embrace gratitude for the blessings in our lives and to set intentions for the season ahead. Yogically, we want to address our processes as we transition from season to season, bringing balance and harmony into our lives finding that source and point of equanimity within ourselves. Season changes including the increase/decrease in the amount of light are a signal to animals, plants, and people, of changing seasons. Black Tara Who Destroys All Negativities Sadhana In this podcast, I am continuing  my exploration of each of the Tibetan Vrajayana Buddhist practice of the Twenty-One Taras. Each of the Taras in the Mandala, provide ways to uplift ourselves and empower our journey in life. The practices are layers of teachings. The mantras are vibrational  tools for transformation. There is great liberating and healing power to meditate on all the aspects of this beloved female Buddha. This particular Tara,  the Tara Who Destroys All Negativities, is the 7th emanation of the 21 Taras. She provides you with the understanding of the malicious motives of both your inner complexes and those of others. This has the ability to allow you to guard yourself from taking in or creating negative energy. She helps you to overcome obstructed circumstances in your life and potential threats. These threats ( both inner and outer) are considered a type of demon in this tradition and are known as Maras. If you are honest with yourself, about your inner demons or Maras, the practice of this Tara sets up a beautiful vibrational dynamic to smash or cut through them. When you perform this sequence for yourself and others, you set up a powerful and vibrational reorientation of your being which is not only extremely protective from outside influences but also safeguards you from your own mental patterning. In this podcast, I discuss, teach and practice the sequence aiming to give you insight into the layers of this practice and how something so ancient as this can be just as vital in modern life. White Tara Longevity, Health, & Purification with Rainbow Protection Lights Vrajayana Buddhist White Tara Sadhana ( she is separate from the 21 Tara’s Practices) and how to perform it. White Tara Sadhana is a spiritual practice of Tibetan Buddhism dedicated to the goddess White Tara, an embodiment of compassion, healing, and serenity. The practice involves invoking her presence and purifying one's own body, speech, and mind. This can be done through meditation, mantras, visualization, and other practices connected to White Tara. White Tara is also known as Sita Tārā, the cool one who brings in healing light, energy, and longevity. In Sanskrit Sita means white or pure and it is also the name of the planet Venus. She is the foremost female bodhisattva of compassionate activity, the supreme representation of mother goddess energy and the collective manifestation of all enlightenment, eternal life, and healing love. White Tārā brings in the long life activating energies of life, fire, strength, vitality, and evolution of wisdom awakened awareness. This is an overview of the practice including the Six Protection Lights Practice, explanation of the Mantras and variations for different situations, Iconography, Visualization, Meditation,  a Short Sadhana Practice.  You might have some obstacles, illness, or toxic circumstances in your life that could cause untimely death. Maybe there is a loved one or friend who is very ill. If these situations are because good karma has been exhausted, it is important ot create merit to prolong life now and have longevity in future lives as well.
