It sounds a lot like the 2022 Aggies, with their struggling offense under head coach Jimbo Fisher. But it actually describes the 2021 TCU Horned Frogs. Head coach Gary Patterson's defense was one of the worst in the country, with a middling offense, and an extremely disappointing season.

But now the Horned Frogs, with a new offensive approach led by new offensive coordinator Garrett Riley, are less than a week from playing against Georgia for a National Championship.
