Welcome to the regular season finale of the Vikings Postgame Report from Soldier Field. The Minnesota Vikings led wire-to-wire in Chicago, capping off their thirteenth win of the season, the most since 2017. The first half of the game saw many Vikings starters in the game, including K.J. Osborn who had a stellar 5 receptions for 117 yards total. Alexander Mattison made the most of his 10 carries, finishing with 54 yards and 2 rushing touchdowns. Overall, the Vikings Offense finished the day with 482 total yards. Defensively, Patrick Jones II notched another sack, both Patrick Peterson and Duke Shelley snagged interceptions, and Josh Metellus recorded three pass deflections. It was a well-rounded effort in all phases and the Vikings now switch their sights to hosting a playoff game next week at U.S. Bank Stadium. Paul Allen and Pete Bercich put a bow on the regular season from Soldier Field, including: reflecting on the successful regular season for both Kevin O'Connell and Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, the storylines for our upcoming playoff game at U.S. Bank Stadium, the current health status of key playmakers going into next week, Kirk Cousins keys to success, and the necessity for everyone to raise their game starting now for the upcoming playoff run. Plus, Head Coach Kevin O'Connell speaks to the media, Gabe Henderson and Ben Leber also go 'Between The Lines' presented by Gatorade, Quarterback Kirk Cousins shares his thoughts in his postgame press conference, and Ron Johnson gives his '3 Takes' to round out the show. All of this and more is in the final 2022-23 regular season edition of the Vikings Postgame Report.
