Tricia Williams is an accomplished chef, nutrition educator and culinary consultant. For the past decade Tricia has been the CEO and Founder of Food Matters NYC, a highly customized health supportive meal delivery service for celebrities, professional athletes, and high performing individuals. She founded Food Matters so that she could share her passion for fresh, whole, locally grown, organic, sustainable and delicious food.

Recently Tricia closed Food Matters and launched Daily Dose, a subscription based health focused meal delivery service where she unites the powder of the farmer, rancher, chef and health expert to deliver the most nutrient dense food. Daily Dose uses organic regenerative farms and creates delicious healthy food that is sustainable, affordable and accessible. Meal plans are categorized by remedy or performance depending on what your health goals are. She has partnered with some of the top thought leaders in health to curate meal plans including Dr. David Perlmutter, Dr. Sara Gottfried, Dr. Will Cole, Brian Mazza, Don Saladino and Kelsey Heenan.

Over the last 15 years, Williams has left her mark on highly regarded Manhattan restaurants including The City Bakery, Home Restaurant, Isla and Olives, to name a few. Williams passion for culinary nutrition surfaced after she gave birth to her first child. She returned to school to secure her Holistic Nutrition Certification from Columbia’s Teachers College and coupled that with a Food Therapy Certification from Annemarie Colbin at the Natural Gourmet Institute. She is also certified by the Institute for the Psychology of Eating.

Tricia does a lot of consulting work including product and menu development for different health foods brands. One of her favorite projects to date was working on Hu Kitchen’s menu before they opened.

Tricia believes that what we eat affects our physical, emotional and mental well being. Her pHilosophy is no gluten no dairy, no sugar…no problems. Her recipes can be found in Drop Acid by Dr. David Perlmutter, Dr. Frank Lipman’s book, 10 Reasons You Get Old and Feel Fat. He wisdom on healthy fat can be Found in Bobbi Brown's book, Beauty From the Inside Out. Her recipes are on line on Bon Apetit and Yahoo Health in her Junk Food Makeover column.
