The Baltimore Ravens used a non-exclusive franchise tag on Jackson, but only one player in thirty years of NFL Free Agency has ever changed teams through the tag. Did the Saints just dodge a bullet by not getting into the Lamar Jackson sweepstakes? It sure seems like it.

While Darren Waller and Josh Jacobs are left with the Raiders in Las Vegas, the Saints could still find two players in the 2023 NFL Draft at least two players that could help Carr feel at home.
