Episode 257: Paranormal Activity 2 (2010)
Alix has a story to finish so she's absent this week as Phill and Anthony tackle the dimly lit found footage sequel, Paranormal Activity 2. Was this the whitest found footage film ever made? Most likely. Phill and Anthony weren't the biggest fans, but you know what they are fans of? Quoting literally any other movie instead of talking about this one. It's short but fun, check it out!

Episode 256: Men in Black (1997)
We're traveling back to another nostalgia pick this month for Anthony's birthday month and it's MEN IN BLACK (1997). Anthony might be sick in this one but he's not too sick to enjoy one of the classics of the late 90s paired with a killer original song. It goes without saying but this movie is special to all three of us, listen to us praise this classic summer blockbuster! **flashes nuralyzer** you want to give us a 5 star rating on itune and/or Spotify... oh and get an interior decorator in here quick cause... damn.

Episode 252: Killer Piñata (2015)
Trash month comes to a close, but it will live on forever in our hearts. We are covering Killer Piñata from 2015 this week and really... what is there to say that hasn't already been said about vaguely racist stereotypes and dramatic exposition in the form of a flash animation? Check it out! And special thanks again to James Brizuela for doing the programming this month!

Episode 251: Winnie the Pooh: Blood & Honey (2023)
Trash month continues full steam ahead with this public domain spectacular! Steamboat Willie, who!? Back in 2022 a very different figure entered the public domain and his name was WINNIE THE POOH (or plooh if you're Alix). The brits decided what better way to celebrate The 100 Acre Wood entering public domain than making possibly the worst rated film we've ever covered?! Plus, a game for this year's Trash Month Trivia Champion! Hope ya'll like bits, because this episode is chock full of one liners to make you laugh to yourself wherever you listen! Check it out! Episode 248: Resident Evil 5 and 6 (2009 and 2012)
It's survival horror time... kinda. This week we look at the action era of Capcom's flagship franchise with the NPC Gaming Pod as we cover TWO games (but mostly one): RESIDENT EVIL 5 AND RESIDENT EVIL 6! Your team alas records in person for the first time in months the result is just as chaotic as the opening minutes of RE5! We take a look at this transitional era for Capcom and wonder why Phill is so hung up on making Nic Cage references throughout the episode. We're taking a two-week break so see you guys in February for TRASH MONTH!

Episode 247: Hell House LLC (2015)
It's found footage time baybeeee! Sure, the genre may or may not have peaked like someone in high school but you'll have to pry it from Alix's cold, dead fingers. We're talking Hell House LLC, the Shudder exclusive that's been a fan favorite for years. The gang also takes time pitching the most unconventional haunts, perhaps ever. Check it out!

Episode 246: Dawn of the Dead (1978 vs 2004)
Hello 2024, it's zombie invasion time! Okay ideally not, but in terms of the podcast we're embracing it as we cover a true classic and its often-celebrated remake... do both stack up years later? Our takes may surprise you! We're doing our classic REMAKE VS OG with George Romero and Zack Snyder's DAWN OF THE DEAD. We take a look at how politics shaped both narratives (in the 70s and 00s, of course), debate which filmmakers' style is overbearing or just right, and even figure out how to survive our own zombie apocalypse! ENJOY!
