In 1998, Alex Ekbatani founded a branding company, AVA Multimedia, landing prestigious multinational companies on his roster, including DuPont Canada, Sony Gaming, Aeroplan, Hazelton Hotels, Trump Towers, Nestle, and Holt Renfrew. Despite his unyielding dedication to his company, he believed in balance and continued to prioritize his love of travel. A 5-star hotel nomad at heart, he has circled the globe several times. After selling AVA Multimedia in 2009, Ekbatani pursued his passion for hospitality 100%. As the President of Rosemont Hotels, he established networks in the industry, acquired real estate, and brought on an investment team. In 2014, Ekbatani founded ette hotels, a major contemporary luxury hotelier group under Rosemont Hotels as the parent company, to introduce trailblazing new concepts and redefine the guest experience. His latest venture is an independently owned luxury property in Orlando, FL. With ette hotel Orlando, he aims to turn the food and beverage industry on its head with wellness-focused zero-alcohol bars throughout the property, where fresh herbs are hand-picked from the garden, and custom ice goes into each transcendental mocktail.
