After 12 years of masking the effects that the continuous partying/excessive drinking was having with overachieving and aiming to appear to have everything under control he couldn’t continue on the constant cycle of drinking - doing something stupid - feeling anxious and fearful only to do it all over again the following Friday. Aodhan had to step off the hamster wheel because he knew there was better out there and he wanted better for himself.
