Tarry feelings point to crossed boundaries and unmet needs and help us get curious about what is happening.Pay attention to the following Hiply tools and concepts. The it's okay technique, setting expectations, parts work, the Inner Peace Self that is always at peace and never gets triggered. And polarized parts that are fighting within us. And finally, the Hiply Process, where whenever you want to change something, the first step is noticing, the second step is acceptance (it's okay, whatever is happening is okay) and that creates spaces for step 3, getting curious and 4, trying something new and noticing what that does. Listen for the following hiply tools and concepts - using language to reprogram our mind. taking judgements out of feeling tarry and how letting go and trusting that all will be okay can be hard when you have tarry feelings about what is happening at the moment. Join me in making a difference, one hiply moment at a time, because when we heal ourselves we heal the world. Did you know that  95% of our thoughts and beliefs are subconscious, and many of them are installed by culture and our programming and we don't readily believe in them. We talk about NLP - Neuro Linguistic Programming - and how our language can help us rewire our mind. Changing just one word in our language can help change our whole outlook.We discuss NVC - Non Violent Communication, also called compassionate or needs based communication. It's a communication and coaching modality that I've simplified with hiply. I use just two feeling words - tarry and hiply, and 3 basic universal needs, love, peace and freedom, to incorporate all our human needs. I use tarry for a "negative" feeling word and reframe it as helpful to have tarry feelings, to take the subconscious judgments out of it and make it easier to move through tarry feelings. And often the most important thing is to help each other or ourselves in calming and regulating our nervous system before it's possible to have productive communication. Finally, Roberta's listener tip to reduce tarry feelings:Get those tarry thoughts out of your head and onto the paper. She's 25 years old and going through big transitions in her life.When you have big life decisions to make, have you ever wondered about what it is that you even really want?  How do you trust to know when it's time to make decisions?Take Aways:Time is fluid, it can move slow or fast.Energy is fluid, when you're doing what you love and are meant to be doing it takes a lot less energy.Life Transitions can be overwhelming and feel tarry and overwhelming, leaving you exhausted. Can it be okay to trust that you'll know when it's time to make a decision?Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) is a thing and can make keeping your boundaries tricky. When you say yes to please someone, you're saying no to yourself. Today we’ll be doing something a little bit different. We will be learning some new hiply tools and practicing Hiply - specifically practicing Hiply HiFi - which is like taking your mind to the gym. I call it Hifi - Hi fidelity, high vibration, raise your energy and vibration. It’s a fun and easy form of meditation I created based on proven meditation, visualization, manifestation and mind training techniques. Because why not make it fun and easy, what if it doesn’t have to be so hard. Did you know that according to a survey by the American Psychology Association 60% of people believe that self improvement is too hard? And did you know that 97% of our thoughts and reactions are subconscious? This means that almost all of our thoughts and reactions are not under our conscious control. This can be both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, it means that we are not constantly bombarded with the need to make decisions, we run on auto pilot. On the other hand, it means that we can be easily influenced by our subconscious biases and fears.If you want to understand yourself better and make more conscious choices, it's important to be aware of your subconscious. How do we do that?First it helps to pay attention to your thoughts and feelings.Notice how you react to different situations. Try and identify any patterns in your thoughts and behaviors. Once you have awareness you can start questioning some of your thoughts and reactions. Is this really mine? Where did this thought come from? HiFi Mini Meditation - or 3 breath meditationBreathing in I calm my bodyBreathing out I smileBreathing in I knowIt's okay and smileBreathe in HiplyBreathe out TarHiply Joy Jingle - to check in and regulate and train your nervous system and rewire your brain and subconscious to Hiply.  Set an alarm on your phone (3 times a day) - check in with your body, mind, feelings, vibrations - do the 3 breath mini meditation if necessary. Teach your nervous system that you are safe.This is how we train our subconscious thoughts.
