Sayyidi Younus AlGohar explains how Allah makes one a Friend (Wali) of Allah (swt).  Main points:   - There is a large group of Muslims who become enraged as soon as the names of saints are mentioned. And they place fatwas of innovations and Shirk and infidelity upon you themselves just because you said you love a certain saint and you respect the saints of Allah. The interesting thing is that Allah has mentioned his friendship in the Koran in lengthy details.   - The philosophy of the Koran tells us that there are two types of saints: Divine Saints and Satanic Saints. Why are they called saints? Saint means friend and a friend is one who is close to you. If you are close to Allah, you are a saint of Allah and if you are close to the Devil, you are a saint of the Devil.   - If you ask a scholar how you can become a saint of Allah, they will first laugh at you and then lecture you about offering Salat fives times a day. Whereas, His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi simplified Spirituality, it is as easy as 2+2=4.   - The secret to Allah's friendship begins with Opening of the Spiritual Heart. This is the first step and after that one is able to converse with Allah, however, that is the lowest level of sainthood. True sainthood begins with Seeing Allah. When a person sees Allah, they are showered with Allah's theophanies which burns away the past, present and future sins.   ---------------------  Have a question for HH Younus AlGohar? In this lecture, Sayyidi Younus AlGohar gives us a detailed explanation of the origins of Opening of the Spiritual Heart: Where did the marvel begin? How does one obtain it? Who holds the key to it?   Main Points:  - Your heart echoing with the name of God is not a small thing, this is a huge gift from God. This is not a joke. There is no human being in human history who has been able to bring God’s name into the heartbeats on his own accord through his own efforts. Nor has any prophet or saint managed this on their own. This is obtained through God’s benevolence, and it is at God's discretion whosoever he grants it to. And God appoints his staff on earth to carry on this task.  - The keys to the Personal Name of God were given to Prophet Mohammad and this was the very first time it happened. All prophets and messengers before obtained the names of God’s attributes. Prophet Mohammad then passed down the key of God’s Personal Name to Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani; no other saint was granted this permission. However, Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani would also delegate his personal staff to awaken the hearts of people.  - In the previous eras, obtaining Opening of the Spiritual Heart was no small feat. A very small number of people were blessed with this Divine gift. The method to obtain Opening of the Spiritual Heart with God’s Personal Name was incredibly strenuous and demanding: one would have to go through 12 years of strict austerities in order to purify the Carnal Self with absolutely no room for error.   - Now His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi bears the key to the Personal Name of God. The pace of life in this day and age does not allow one to quit mundane life and make abode in the jungle, therefore, His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi has made obtaining the Opening of the Spiritual Heart as simple as can be! There are no restrictions, no obligations and most importantly, no efforts made on the aspirant's part. It is just down to God's will.   Have a question for HH Younus AlGohar? What is the Carnal Self? How does it become purified and what are the different stages of purification for the Carnal Self? Find out in Sayyidi Younus AlGohar’s lecture!   Main points:   - The Carnal Self is a ball of fire and it is located at your navel point. The evil energy from the Carnal Self radiates into your blood and attacks your entire body. It is within you but you cannot see it. Since you cannot see it, how will you fight it? This is why you need a Perfect Spiritual Guide.  - The Perfect Spiritual Guide will arrest your Carnal Self with his spiritual power; he will handcuff the Carnal Self. The Spiritual Guide encaptures the Carnal Self in a circle of Divine Light which ensures that no evil energy can enter it. Now, the diet of the Carnal Self has been stopped by the Spiritual Guide.   - The Carnal Self will be hungry and the Spiritual Guide tells it, ‘I can give you food but I do not have the diet of evil energy, I only have Divine Light.’ Many Carnal Selves are stubborn and they do not wish to intake the Divine Light as a result of which, they perish. However, some Carnal Selves accept the diet of Divine Light out of necessity.   -  The Spiritual Guide tells the Carnal Self to recite the Kalima because it will generate a constant supply of Divine Light which will feed it at the same time. As a result of which, the Carnal Self begins to change. From Ammarah (Commanding Self) it turns into Lawwama (Blameworthy Self) and from Lawamma it turns into Mulhima which is the completion of purification for an Enlightened Believer.   - The final stage of the purification of the Carnal Self is Mutmaina (Contented Self) and this is not for the Enlightened Believer. This stage is not acquired through the Divine Light of the Kalima. This is only for the saints and it can only be obtained through the Divine Theophanies.   ---------------------------------------  Have a question for HH Younus AlGohar? Sayyidi Younus AlGohar explains the difference between Nafs-e-Ammarah (Commanding Self), Nafs-e-Lawamma (Blameworthy Self) and Nafs-e-Mulhima (Inspired Self).  Summary:  -  Coming out of the state of the Commanding Self is crucial. People used to engage in loud chanting of the Motto of Faith after performing Salat; this would improve the state of their Lower Self, eventually bringing it into the state of the Blameworthy Self.  The Koran 12:53 says that the Commanding Self compels you to do bad.  - Even when you don't feel like sinning, if you have a Commanding Self, it will come under waves of passion during which you will be compelled to sin. If you have a Commanding Self, you feel content having sinned; this is a sign of recognition for the Commanding Self. You are content when you have troubled, harmed or hurt others.  - The sign of recognition for the Blameworthy Self is if one happens to sin, then he regrets it afterwards. He feels shame and blameworthiness. He thinks, 'I should not have done it.'   - One with an Inspired Self doesn't feel much of a craze or passion to sin. But sometimes the circumstances are such that they feel inclined to sin. He feels he is vulnerable in that moment. That is when, spiritually, he receives a message from his Spiritual Guide. He sees his Spiritual Guide's face and it saves him from sinning. An Inspired Self does not allow you to commit a sin. When the Spiritual Guide comes to know that his disciple is about to commit a sin, then the Spiritual Guide will send a message to the disciple and the invocation in their heart will speed up as a result. This is how they will be prevented from sinning.   ——

Sayyidi Younus AlGohar discusses the Second Coming of Jesus Christ in light of the Koran and Prophetic Traditions.  Summary:  - According to the Koran, Jesus Christ was ascended physically to the higher realms by God. He will have to descend on Earth because his body was meant for Earth. Death only occurs in the Terrestrial Realm; if something leaves the Terrestrial Realm and ascends to the higher realms, it cannot die.  Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said, ‘I am the City of Knowledge.’  - The Koran is one aspect of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) because it was revealed onto his heart. He understands it best. Therefore, you should consult Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) because the Koran is not separate from Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). There are many things which were not discussed in the Koran, but which Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) addressed - such as Jesus Christ’s return. The ultimate source of knowledge is Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), not the Koran.   Koran 53:3-4 says, ‘Not a single word passes from his lips out of his own desires. Rather he [only] utters the divine revelation.'  - So this verse means, 'O' Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), when do you ever move your lips except for when the divine revelation is revealed?' According to this Koranic verse, even if Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) asks for water, you must consider it to be the Koran. One type of divine revelation comes from the higher realms, however, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)) also had God’s presence within him which spoke through him. That presence of God could have said, 'Bring me water.'  Koran 59:7 says, 'O' Devout Believers, take whatever Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) gives you. And quit whatever he forbids you to do.'  - So Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said that Jesus Christ will return; you have to accept it otherwise you are not a Muslim.  - Jesus Christ was already a prophet before the advent of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in the world. His return does not affect the Finality of Prophethood because that only applies to new prophets. No new prophets or messengers shall come after Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).   Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said to his nation, 'How eminent must you be [as a nation] when I, Mohammad, am here at your commencement and Jesus Christ and Imam Mehdi are at your culmination.'

What is the reason for the fall of man and when does man reach his culmination? Sayyidi Younus AlGohar explains.  Summary:  - God says in Koran 95:4, ‘Verily, when I created man, I placed my beauty in him. And if I have rejected anyone from among men, then they become the lowest of the low.’  - Man’s culmination is to awaken and enlighten the souls within him and then witness the divine splendour. If those souls which could have been empowered through divine energy to reach God were instead strengthened with negative energy, then man reaches the headquarters of the Devil.  - There are four stages of the Lower Self. Some buildings have a few levels below ground level and some levels above it too. This is how the Lower Self is. If one manages to embark on the spiritual path, the Lower Self progresses from Ammarah (Commanding Self) to Lawamma (Blameworthy Self), Mulhima (Inspired Self) and then Mutmaina (Contented Self). And if the Lower Self obtains negative energy instead of divine energy, its state deteriorates from that of a dog to a snake; from a snake to a cobra and from a cobra to a white snake.  - Once the Lower Self becomes a cobra, it cannot be changed. The Lower Self only goes into decline past the stage of Ammarah when it comes within the grasp of the Devil. If the Devil kidnaps a Lower Self and takes it to his headquarters, the Lower Self begins to change from Ammarah to a snake. Such a person cannot handle a single word of criticism. They become extremely arrogant and egoistic. They think they are better than others and nobody has any value to them.  - It is important to protect the Lower Self. For example, if you have your children play within your house, you can keep an eye on them. But if they leave the house to play with others, they may fall prey to the wrong kind of company. Similarly, your Lower Self leaves your body every night in your dreams. You have no control over it - who knows when it will be taken to the headquarters of the Devil? Therefore you should come to HDE Gohar Shahi so that HDE Gohar Shahi can protect your Lower Self and enlighten your souls, turning you into a man of God.  - If you embark on the path to enlightening the souls, then you will begin to progress. One day you will reach the culmination of man. And if you don’t adopt the spiritual path, one day, God will reject you. In the UK, we put any piece of furniture we don’t want outside our houses - and someone comes and takes it. When God rejects someone, the Devil takes that person immediately. If God rejects someone for his friendship, the Devil immediately takes that person’s Lower Self to his headquarters and trains it. Then he visits a religious cleric that has a lot of followers in his dream and places that Lower Self in the cleric’s body. He kisses his forehead and says, ‘Now I am not needed.’   - The fall of man is to be rejected by God be under the control of the Devil. The culmination of man is when he absorbs the beauty of God.
