Beyond Logic & Embracing Change | Dr. Jen Bennett
How often do we cling to the familiar simply because it makes sense to us and is logical?”  In this episode of the She Impacts Culture podcast, we explore how to move beyond comfort and predictability to embrace the change God’s calling brings. Today’s episode is all about Beyond Logic & Embracing Change.Today, Jen is specifically chatting through:Logical Thinking vs. Faith: How does logical thinking sometimes hinder us from stepping into uncertain opportunities that God calls us to?Clinging to Comforts: Identifying the good things in life (job, home, etc.) that can become comfortable crutches, preventing us from accepting God’s calling into a new season of life.Faith Over Familiarity: How can faith give us confidence to move forward even when we don’t have a clear view of the destination?Friends, God’s calling often leads us beyond what’s comfortable and familiar. Embracing faith over logical thinking allows us to step into the opportunities He has prepared for us, even when they challenge our sense of predictability. If you’re feeling the tension between clinging to comforts and following God’s calling, I encourage you to listen to this episode, reflect on your relationship with change, and boldly trust that God’s plan is greater than our understanding. Reflection QuestionsWhat good thing are you holding onto that might prevent you from experiencing God’s greater blessings? Is there a familiar comfort or success that you find hard to let go of, even though God may be calling you to something new?Is logical thinking keeping you from stepping into what God is calling you to, simply because it doesn’t make sense to you?Can you give up what’s predictable, sensible, logical, and good for what God is calling you to?Nathan Metz: The Other Side of the Lake Sermon: https://youtu.be/a-VYHm5HaA8?si=1nPzKXD3fkKxt1Qg Connect with Jen:Website: https://drjenbennett.com/ #BeWorthFollowing Book: http://amzn.to/2H4gn9m Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/drjenbennett/ LinkedIn:  https://www.linkedin.com/in/drjenbennett/Dr. Jen Bennett is a passionate educator with over two decades of experience.
