Deep in the Socorran Badlands, Elo, Beegax, and their new partner in crime, Verse, successfully steal several crates of contraband, and race back to civilization. They are pursued by a group of Nikto gangsters, looking to reclaim their purloined property. Overrun and outgunned, Elo was critically injured in the escape, just as a terrifying sand storm began to make its way across the planet’s surface.
