Agribusiness, also known as bio-business, is the business sector referring to farming and farming-related commercial activities. It involves all the steps necessary to produce and send an agricultural product to the market.

Agriculture is the economic sector that employs the most people in the world, especially in most African countries and other low-income economies.

According to the (FAO) Food and Agriculture Organization, over 70% of the world’s food needs are met by small scale farmers.
