The Book Club: Chapter 15 continued

The Holy Instant is the means by which we can obtain peace and salvation. Imagine your mind free of thoughts. There is no reviewing the past and no predicting the future. It is a place where only the senses are active and fully aware of their surroundings. You are living in the moment and absorbing every interaction you encounter. It is like being placed in a bubble free of any influence outside of your immediate surroundings. Your senses are heightened and you are feeling nothing but peace, calm and joy.

If you have ever sat on a beach or anywhere in nature just looking, listening, smelling and touching everything around you. Your feeling calm and it almost feels surreal because it's like there is nothing else but that moment. You entered the Holy Instant and didn't know it. Now try to make it part of each day you encounter.
