Got my dancing shoes on for this one!    Creative Souls Dance Company Owner, Rosalie Gallanti Yoshikay brings my spirits up with her motivating music and higher power connection, with people, through dance.   I've seen it with my own eyes!  She is leading women of all shapes, sizes and ages on a journey where they feel more connected to their bodies. They have genuine smiles and she has quite a following already!    In her class I learned a favorite new type of music, Soca/Song.... no matter where we are in the world, we are all connected under one beat so bring the music, bring the love, bring the fun! "Bring the Beat"   Ladies....Why do you think you need to be drunk for an adult dance class? Just go to the dance class and feel drunk or high on your own energy, or lack there of....in my case but I keep trying:)))!!!   Women put themselves through so much. How does she get women to relax when they walk in that studio? How does she connect with their souls to bring out the sexy, sassy relaxed FEMALE and BUILD confidence?   Learn about her Ladies ONLY classes! Burlesque, Anyone?!?!   We are sexy!!! How can we remember to feel that way? Tap into it and listen up!   Is Rosalie changing marriages? Are women having better sex lives now? That eye contact and physical touch may be just what is needed.   Awakening the girls… wake em up!   Rosalie's negative ESTEEM experience with her "petite" older sister and being told to “stand in the back of the class” didn't hold her back but her Dad seeing her leadership skills definitely helped her grow into the magnificent woman, business owner, mother and instructor she is today!   To get in touch with Rosalie contact her at creativesouldance.com.   Contact Jamie https://lightswitchlearning.com/product/bridging-the-gap-between-school-and-home/ jamie@teamesteemmethod.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jamielevine8/ https://www.instagram.com/teamesteem_/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/team-esteem-llc/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jamieblevine https://www.facebook.com/TeamEsteemLLC YouTube https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCsK7ONq0Oph1AGTq9tDWHJw Websites: www.teamesteemmethod.com www.jamielevinemsed.com Resources: https://childmind.org/article/one-on-one-help-in-the-classroom/

Ep. 25 - Guest ADHD Expert, Brooke Schnittman
Brooke Schnittman went from being a Middle and Elementary School Administrator, (at my alma matter Jericho high school:), to helping others understand the dynamics of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), a coaching business for ADHD'ers called Coaching with Brooke (CWB).   A graduate of Penn State and NYU grad school, Brooke Schnittman worked her ass off and is still turning out great content with a large social media following.   She realized the school system needed more help and she became an ADHD coach, to realize later at the age of 35 she too had ADHD and so does the majority of her blended family. How does she address her journey? Medication? Diagnosis? Ongoing support? Medicating family members and herself  through the Adderall Shortage?!?!    She discusses her earlier experience with a diagnosis of generalized anxiety disorder and how she dealt with bullying through her ADHD diagnosis, by way of her auditory processing disorder.   My questions about concerns for tolerance levels and getting addicted vs the benefits....in addition to some more shared Brooke Statistics and the fact that ....   PILLS DON'T TEACH SKILLS!!!!   Esteem and Behaviors are always an important component!   Listen up as Brooke shares her stories of Coaching with Brooke!   @coachingwithbrooke on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok www.coachingwithbrooke.com   Contact Jamie https://lightswitchlearning.com/product/bridging-the-gap-between-school-and-home/ jamie@teamesteemmethod.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jamielevine8/ https://www.instagram.com/teamesteem_/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/team-esteem-llc/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jamieblevine https://www.facebook.com/TeamEsteemLLC YouTube https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCsK7ONq0Oph1AGTq9tDWHJw Websites: www.teamesteemmethod.com www.jamielevinemsed.com Resources: https://childmind.org/article/one-on-one-help-in-the-classroom/
Ep. 24 - Rhiannon Richards, a social media expert for Coaching with Brooke (an ADHD coaching business) discusses her late Autism diagnosis at the age of 24.

Ep. 24 - Rhiannon Richards, a social media expert for Coaching with Brooke (an ADHD coaching business) discusses her late Autism diagnosis at the age of 24.
Rhianonnon Richards and I met in an awkward round about social media type of way and I gladly welcomed her to Mom Esteem ! Listen up as Rhiannon candidly speaks out about her social struggles, like when she realized she was "a little off" and the masking she would do to fit in at school. Feeling like the 3rd wheel, trying to fit in. Figuring out how to interrupt and jump into a sentence. It's a skill! Who knew:) How her mom was always there for her. She describes the difference between neurotypical and neurodiverse and the different thinking tendencies behind that. How we express empathy differently,  misunderstandings . The difference between being honest and open vs undertones of sarcasm and communication nuances. My own social media fears, posting and imposter syndrome. The perfectionist fear that's holding me back! OUCH! Listen up on how her social media posts are helping people... Putting terms out there to be researched  Her most popular "Getting out of bed" post!  How her love for graphic design and ADHD coaching worksheets led her to take over the Coaching with Brooke social media title.  Interesting  ADHD symptom tests - Adapted from an official diagnoses test and her boyfriend, ADHD counterpart!  Being able to affect people, POSITIVELY, with her wide reach through social media posts! Our common struggles .... Of how getting a diagnosis makes you feel "less shameful" in addition to how it  "Helps to approach things differently"  And how meds keep you more sedated...essentially,  more real talk!   Contact Jamie https://lightswitchlearning.com/product/bridging-the-gap-between-school-and-home/ jamie@teamesteemmethod.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jamielevine8/ https://www.instagram.com/teamesteem_/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/team-esteem-llc/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jamieblevine https://www.facebook.com/TeamEsteemLLC YouTube https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCsK7ONq0Oph1AGTq9tDWHJw Websites: www.teamesteemmethod.com www.jamielevinemsed.com Resources: https://childmind.org/article/one-on-one-help-in-the-classroom/

Ep. 19 - Jamie’s a Good Eater
Growing up on Jamaican comfort food and hiding out at sleep away camp eating peanut butter cups in my bunk, food has always been a source of comfort for me.     Our emotions drive our behavior, which leads me and others to emotional eating, often times mindlessly.    What I learn from Elle about mindful eating.    This is my struggle or story if you will; the current state of raising awareness of my own thoughts and habits around food. Good and bad, happy and sad. Creative, expressive and mindless or mindful?!?! If you’re hungry and your pantry in next to empty, I can help! Learn from me!   I will share tips from working with a helpful nutritionist and more…a helpful book called  Intuitive Eating By Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch.     What are kids eating today that’s effecting their behavior? What tips can we give them and be aware of so we raise better minded healthier children. What am I doing right and seeing in others?   Oh, and stay tuned at the very end for one last cute kid eating story!   Contact Jamie https://lightswitchlearning.com/product/bridging-the-gap-between-school-and-home/ jamie@teamesteemmethod.com    Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jamielevine8/ https://www.instagram.com/teamesteem_/   LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/team-esteem-llc/   Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jamieblevine   https://www.facebook.com/TeamEsteemLLC   YouTube https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCsK7ONq0Oph1AGTq9tDWHJw   Websites: www.teamesteemmethod.com www.jamielevinemsed.com   Resources: https://childmind.org/article/one-on-one-help-in-the-classroom/
Ep. 18 - What is Love?
Dec 27 2022
Ep. 18 - What is Love?
A marriage mentor, mom and fellow podcaster empowers people to find the good in their relationships as we discuss LOVE. Michelle Hays writes for a column at the Happy Herald and Lighthouse Point magazine.   Is it a feeling? Excitement? Excitement all the time? How does it change over time? As we grow and as we grow up... How do you perceive your relationship? What do you focus on? The positive stuff? The other stuff?   Love is a decision. 100%.   When you're loving someone, you have to also love yourself first. Sometimes we forget that. At least I do.   Are you loving your partner so much that you are losing yourself? Are you doing things with others (other than your partner) to feel happy in your relationship?   Are you being possessive and wanting to be with your partner all the time? Is that healthy?   Are you feeling valued in your relationship? Is your partner valuing you? Do they chip in and do what makes you feel valued? Are you communicating these needs diplomatically? Do you say "Would You" instead of "Could you"?   ARE YOU STAYING AUTHENTIC TO YOURSELF TO FEEL REJUVENATED AND HAPPY TO EVEN BE IN A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP?   Are you doing what matters to you and what makes you feel good? To be your best authentic self.   When you are focusing on your partner and making them feel really loved, that when the magic starts to happen....Tune in to find out... HOW to do this?   We are all in this together! We are not ALONE!   Contact Jamie https://lightswitchlearning.com/product/bridging-the-gap-between-school-and-home/ jamie@teamesteemmethod.com    Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jamielevine8/ https://www.instagram.com/teamesteem_/   LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/team-esteem-llc/   Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jamieblevine   https://www.facebook.com/TeamEsteemLLC   YouTube https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCsK7ONq0Oph1AGTq9tDWHJw   Websites: www.teamesteemmethod.com www.jamielevinemsed.com   Resources: https://childmind.org/article/one-on-one-help-in-the-classroom/

How did I respond? QUICKLY!!! Listen up to find out?!?   Dating story #2 - How a cool, Facebook working stud led a few women to enjoy my leftovers. Dec 13 2022
Ep. 16 - Happy Holidays! Are You Speaking My Language?
The holiday cheer is a festive time with family and friends. It’s special and memorable spending time with those you love, for better or worse! But…. it’s not always simple and can be tough to navigate. Like being asked difficult life questions from opinionated relatives and family friends.   Sometimes it’s complicated deciding who to spend your time with, for how long, spending money and time away on flights to get there. Putting up with difficult personalities, or choosing not to put up with it and spending time elsewhere. What’s are the repercussions of that? The combination of old people and young people, different perspectives and who knows best? Who’s actually answering question’s honestly and openly? Being asked difficult life questions such as how’s your girlfriend? What college is your son going to? Are they going to college? How is the marriage going? The family input and emotional investment can be quite complicated!  Why are you not at our holiday gathering? Is your child still in school? Still married? Or did he drop out to go sell weed in California? Did you get divorced?   All the shame, honesty and bs that comes with the holidays and my advice to you.
