Hey Friends we are officially back from a long hiatus. After a busy season of life we are excited to be back recording podcasts.On today’s episode TJ and I share our story of the past 10 years we’ve spent together.We start from the very beginning of how we first met and all the milestones in between. As a married couple, been through lots of highs and lows over the years but have remained rooted by the foundation of our faith. TJ and I discuss in depth our journey of overcoming challenges in marriage by fighting for each other. Making the choice to put another person’s needs before our own can be one of the greatest challenges of marriage but along the way we have discovered the reward in perseverance. We have more episodes to come in 2021!On today’s episode we interview our friend Mike Grande. Mike has been part of the law enforcement industry for over 22 years.  Our conversation covers several topics including Mike’s experience as a Police Officer and Detective. We also discuss his faith journey and how that has been incorporated in his career. Mike also shared ways we as a community can best support our local law enforcement. He currently works as a detective for the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department. He has been a faithful follower of Christ for several years and serves as an elder at Harvest Community Church. Hey Friends thanks for tuning in to Episode 5!On today’s episode we interview Bri Joy one of our friends for over a decade.Brianna Joy, most commonly known as Bri is a mother of 3 wonderful children and wife to Youth Pastor Russ. She is also a Revelation Wellness Educator and instructor at the ministry she started at her church called, The Well. Her favorite hobbies include biking, hiking, dancing like a fool, soccer and laying out in the sun listening to Florida Georgia Line. She has been teaching a variety of fitness classes including strength and conditioning, as well as coaching for students for 5+ years. She has a certification from ACE and a Bachelor's degree from Nyack College for Youth Ministry. In the Spring of 2018 she became a Revelation Wellness Instructor and the following Fall, she started teaching faith and fitness through The Well at Essex Alliance Church, in VT. They have a growing community and she leads a beautiful team who are passionate about using the Gospel in the way they teach fitness, nutrition and holistic wellness.  On this episode we discuss Bri’s passion for faith, fitness and wellness. He has been married to his wife Heidi for over 32 years and together they have 4 adult children. Bill answered a call to Pastoral Ministry in 1993 and has Pastored multiple churches at a time over his career. He has Pastored a total of 14 churches during his tenure with the United Methodist Church in Upstate NY and Northeastern PA. Bill is in his 28th year as a United Methodist Pastor and is currently pastoring at McKendree UMC and Germany Hill UMC in Candor, NY. He is very proud of his wife and his children and is a proud Papa to 6 grandchildren.On this episode we discuss Bill’s pastoral journey and what his ministry experience has been like during the pandemic.Bill discusses how adoption has played a crucial role in his life and how God has been at work over the years.
