As the start of the hurricane season approaches we sit down with Emergency Manager and Assistant Fire Chief, Robert Hevia. Additionally, the Division of Emergency Management (DEM) was recently recognized by the City Commission for the exemplary work displayed during COVID times. This division was responsible for maintaining City operations afloat during the pandemic and securing prompt refunds from FEMA back into the City's budget.
