Overtime, poor sleep can contribute to depression, anxiety, stress and a decline in overall health. Sleep problems are strongly correlated with obesity issues. Ideally, adults should be sleeping between 7-8 hours each night- but the research shows nearly half of Americans feel tired during the daytime.  Sleepfoundation.org reports that somewhere between 10 and 30% of adults suffer from chronic insomnia.
